SURPRISE PROJECT- Finally a sucess! trueyellowtanimbars-pics
Yesterday was an amazing day!
My secret project - my yellow tanimbars had babies!
I have the parents now revealed on my website.
I just can't believe I have baby yellow/gold tannys running around now.
They look very similar (as I expected) to silvers when born just as Northerns look virtually identical at birth. I have classic babies that are so orange you would THINK they were sunsets but they grow up to resemble their parents.
Be VERY careful on your purchase. The flaming orange baby Northern you just bought at the reptile show will lose all that color and turn into a classic northern
Back to the yellow tannys! These babies do have a difference in that their jaw and neck have a dark orange, reddish color! I'll try to take pictures of both the silver and yellow babies soon. Stay tuned.

Sorry for the large pictures.
Many of you know already for years that I tend to do this so people can zoom in and see all the details.
I get annoyed by pictures that are actually too small to make out any fine details. Not everyone agrees with me so I apologize for the dial-up nightmare.

Your pics are waaaaaay toooooooo big for me on dial up, but I can imagine how beautiful they are!
Can you produce a green species?
I'd love a green one, my favourite colour.
