baby diet

sorry guys.. kinda a newbie Q
How much and what can i give my baby BTS?
same as an adult?
can i give him mealworms?

he used to being fed veggies and fruits, i am now offering cat food too..thanks guys

Anything and everything on the carepage! Yep, same foods as adults, but many people offer more of a meat source early on. Mealworms are fine.

my baby doesnt eat unless its held in front of him and never greens, i have to mix some vegies into his meat. is this alright to do?

Of course! Mixing greens into the main food is the only way some people can get their's to eat them.

mine seems to be a picky eater een with his cat food...

is there any way i would know that im giving him enough greens mixed in?

also, the only meat he seems to go for (without me holding it up to him) is chicken mince. is that alright to feed mostly? its the easiest to mix vege's in too. chicken has a i phosphorus level but i put in calcium supplement too to compensate, is this alright to do on a regular basis?

Is he wild caught from a pet store? Captive bred baby? It never hurts to give him a check up at the vet; especially if he's wild caught; which he likely is unless you deliberately sought out a captive bred.

Yere i was gonna say the same thing
ive a baby at the moment was 90 grams tried to eat chunks of chicken .So yep make small pieces that are managble.

Yere mate , chicken breast they love , canned baby human food egg custard , egg yoke .. every day they should and will eat .

Colin on here,and I agree says "starve the lizards", if you get a picky eater,mine is quite often, dont feed them for a bit and they seem to realise that they have to eat what they're given,a realy grumpy expression for three days on the trot speaks volumes {his not mine,{not always} , I cave in too easily and feed mine what I know he loves{all healthy}but it can be a test of wills.

but he is still a baby.. im worried that he wont eat at all if i starve him..

I say again, few animals will starve themselves to death, given the choice they will eat it even if they don't like it.

Another question:

is chicken alright for every meal if its got different veggies mixed in every time and calcium supplement added?

oh and one more...

is offering a big meal every 3 days or so alright for one thats around 4 months old or should i be offering less in a sitting but every day?

That is debatable for adults, but for babies - I'd feed a small amount everyday. They need food for their initial growth and development. Caresheet pretty much tells you what you need to know, but don't do your head in worrying. some chicken cat fod, with dandelion greens and some pureed apple would be fine with some calcium powder sprinkled on top. Don't over do it though. Snails are great too! Really good!
