Hello,
I've been waiting a very long time to be able to get a bluey (first needed hubby to okay it, then needed to wait for babies!), and I finally have one!
I'm the proud owner of a baby northern and he/she is just beautiful!
I've had "him" for about 20 minutes!

So I really am brand new!
I've done as much research as I can and I lurk here, but now hopefully I'll have something to post about!
Here is a pic of little Ichabod, he started checking out his new home immediately and within 2 minutes was chowing down on his food. What a good boy!
Just had to brag, no one I know is as thrilled as I am.

Thank you again Andrew!!

Don't feel bad no one I know gets excited when I get a bluey either. In fact my mom and sister won't even answer the phone when I getting one because I call them all day worried about the poor little guy being in box on a hot UPS truck.
You're guy is a cutie! Is he one of Ray's?

Thank you everyone!
He's such a tiny little guy, I can't wait for him to get a bit bigger so I feel better handling him. Although we did okay when I took him out of the bag. I was stressing so bad before he arrived. He was more than two hours late and I figured I'd have a dead or listless bluey.
But, he arrived safe and sound and lively. He's still checking things out. He took a little snooze, right out in the open. He doesn't seem to be afraid, even when my four year old goes pressing her face up against the glass. (I have been keeping her away for the most part!) I'm very impressed, I thought he'd be tucked away in one of the hides, or behind the foliage. I wiggled my finger along the glass and he came running up to check it out. Amazing little guy. He's one of Andrew Seikes and I can't tell you how helpful he's been and I'm so happy I chose him and that he allowed me to own one of his beauties!
Thanks again for the welcome!
Oh, here's another pic, I got a few when he first arrived!

Yes, this is a Martha/Ezra baby. I figured since I liked both parents so much, I couldn't lose with this guy. This one is MA3, which one are you getting?

Yeah hes a special little guy gona be just like his mom and pop. I got MA1. Who is also very special. We definately got to keep in touch and post pictures of these guys growing. They are both gona be absolutely beautiful full grown. Hm... being that they are siblings they might have similar tastes... What does your baby like to eat? I had SUCH a hard time choosing which one, your's was my 2nd choice tied with D5. I finally decided on mine because of the parents and I wanted a nicely colored one, but not quite as dark as MA1. Although, I wouldn't have minded taking them both. Yours is going to be gorgeous and I definately want to see pics as he matures. When are you getting him?
Right now he's eating Dick Van Pattens cat food, Dandelion greens and raspberries, or should I say, a tsp of cat food, the very tip of a green, and about 1/8 of a large raspberry. I was going to go and buy some collards, but seeing how he eats only a tiny speck of the green stuff, I just harvest the ones we have outside (we don't use chemicals, so they are safe), so he gets the freshest stuff possible.
PICJESS: He only has that on one side at the moment, I don't know if it's a piece that has yet to shed, or if it will stay that way. It's cute though either way!
Thanks to everyone else that popped in and said "Hi" and "congrats"!

Nope, just a classic Northern. Although I hate saying "just", cause I think he's so beautiful. His Dad wasn't a typical colored northern though, so that could be why he looks different.
