Yawning BTS

One of my babies keeps yawning well it looks like yawning, i wasn't sure if he had something in his mouth/throat that he is trying to get out.
I noticed his mouth is a little open sometimes too, is this normal or is something wrong?

perhaps you can get a video of it...if she keeps doing it and seems to have trouble breathing id briing him to a vet ASAP

It seems to have stopped, i haven't seen it do it since last night but i will keep an eye on him.

Yawning is pretty normal. I've seen Rollie yawn more frequently after a big meal. The mouth slightly open and strained breathing are cause for concern, not so much just yawning...

I thought yawning would be common but he kept doing it over and over again almost like he was trying to spit something up then last night i saw him do it and he had saliva bubbles on the side of his mouth so i cleaned him up with some water and he hasn't done it again. He is eating at the moment, pumpkin and sweetcorn.

Babies seem to yawn 10 times more than adults. Normal!

There's a difference between yawning and bolting down a bit of food, mine does both, theres more strain in the food event ,like when he chucks back mushroom, some times I think it can be a little dry which induces the "gulp with open mouth"

lol, cute pic but when my one was doing it it was like 5 in a row so i was worried he swallowed something he shouldn't have.
btw your blueys meal looks good...too bad i can't find any snails. I might have to order some.

You'll have to see if hes up partying hard late at night, Haa Haa,I've seen Blue do three yawns on the trot. If his foods dryish it could be the problem, if a piece was a bit big that too,do you chop or blend his food?mine only eats chopped, I've bought a spray, mango scent for Iguanas but basically its 2:1 in cal to po ratio, so if he pigs more than one bit at a time it wont get stuck in his throat.
