My BTS just shead today here are some pics of what he looks like now.

And after
Side view, notice the fading from light to dark on the stripes, does this mean he's becoming lighter, or is It just a fade from light to dark that will remean until he's an adult?

Very nice! Colors change dramatically particularly through their first 3-6 months.
I like your substrate...is that the eco earth that you roll out/cook in the oven (or leave in the sun to dry)?

No, it's coconut husks, they sometimes come in a brick and you have to sit them in water for an hour or so.

He's over a year not 3-6 months but I get what your saying. So is his skin going from brown to a lighter color (meaning in a few month his stripes will be all one lighter shade) Or Will he just have a fading stripe the rest of his life, (such as pic #8 on the Irian Jaya page?)

Either is possible, but I think he will always have a bit of that fade.

Thats cool I wanted one with dark stripes, but the faded light into dark looks cool.

My IJ seems to be getting paler with each shed and there's more white to him each time as well.

He's about 10" long, but I'm not sure about his weight.
