BLUE TONGUE SKINKS

What are some funny things that your skinks do or have done? I am really curious what kinds of funny things they can do.

Once, I was feeding my five-and-a-half year old Eastern Blue-Tongue, Lloyd, some chopped vegetables and fruit and I put the small dish down and the *darn animal chased me! So then I moved the dish closer to Lloyd and he slithered under some leaves, then he leapt out and grabbed a nice hard grip on my right pointer finger! Yeah, PAIN!

Absolute bloody savage, but I still love him like a brother.

Another time I had just murdered a grasshopper and then as I lowered myself to the ground to give it to Lloyd he just sprung off his feet and grabbed it out of my fingers! Scared the blank out of me! He was really young then so he wouldn't be able to do it now... He carries to much weight.

Oh, and some of you may remember me, and I just wanted to say G'day. I've been away for a while, because I've been having a hard time with personal problems and depression, but now I am back and better than ever!

When I first had my Blue we gave him a small clear plastic carton for water, he used to tip it up a lot, once ,he was burrowing around and had the carton perfectly balanced on his head for a couple of seconds,he tilted his head up to see what it was and spilt water down his back, the shock made him jerk,jump and snease in one move and he legged it under his hide, giving me the look of death, he came back out under cover of substrate and popped up under the upturned carton, like a viewing bubble at seaworld, then walked around with it like a space cadet,it was tooo funny,yeh I know you had to be there .

my 14 month northern wiomi, a while ago i bought a mp3 that could play t.v and movies and all that, and wiomi actually watches it, dont think he knows wat happenin though, but he watches for about a couple of min. its an odd sight.

While I was taking a picture of Lump, a large eastern I was babysitting, he bite and tried to eat the lens of the camera. I have a picture of the inside of his mouth.

Escape at the end of summer then sneeze in the back yard wich is skink proof .Um 1 bite me as a little boy and i rode home on my bike with it locked on my arm all the way home..My neighbour was gonna shop its head off with the axe ...I said no its only claret blood ..fill the sink up and dunk him under ,he let go ...LOL ...My wife puts them on me when i have crashed out , and i find them up my shirt, sleeping under my jacket..Um some Liam lets go inside the house , CRIKEY might take a week to find them as its cold here .Ya find them asleep behind a cutain The babies are funny
