I know the time because by that point (guaranteed arrival by 10:30) I was ready to call 911! Then, the UPS man handed the box to me so carelessly that I about fainted. I felt so sorry for my little babe that I just wanted to get her out---and I almost forgot to get my camera. She hissed a little in the bag but I was just relieved she was safe and sound. I placed her little canvas bag in the warmed cage and she just sat there (snuggling in her yarn and peeking out) for the longest while. Finally, she decided to come out. After leaving the bag, she took care of "business." Smart little bluey must be "bag trained!" She explored the whole tank (tongue going a million miles per hour) and ate. I took her out for a bit and she seemed a little nervous but never hissed or anything like that. (Zach, I'm feeling a little jipped because I thought she would be all hissy and mouthy! 
) Then, she curled up and slept under her platform. I have her tank tucked away in my son's room but I've found every reason in the world to check on her today. Pele' hid for the longest time and I had to dig him out. Charlotte, on the other hand, keeps peeking out from her aspen shavings. She likes to hide under her fake flowers and peek out to see what is going on. When I was cuddling her today, I held her up to Pele's tank. She seemed so excited then he opened his mouth (through the glass) at her. It will be a very long time (if ever) before those two interact. My maternal instincts went haywire!!!

She is just beautiful! I know the pictures don't do her justice, but she is the most amazing color combo. She has oranges, yellows, and beautiful tans. I always thought Pele' was gorgeous but the poor guy is just drab compared to her.
OK, I've got pictures to post. I will try to put them up tomorrow. If I can't do it, can I email them to someone and have you help me post them? They will need to be downsized and I haven't figured out how to do this. I apologize for not posting pictures yet. I'm such a slacker mom! I appreciate any help that anyone has to offer. Just think too---you'll be the first on the forum to see the little cutie! (In the meantime, look at Darling's pictures and pretend that they are of Charlotte.

I also have some cute pictures of Pele' trying to stand on the rim of his water bowl to climb out of his tank and my cresty shedding his skin (before he ate it.) I may post her "siblings' pictures" on a different thread though since sweet little Charlotte is the star of this thread!
