BLUE TONGUE SKINKS

had her on the bed roaming around and tunneling under the covers and stuff. she surfaced and came upon a red plastic coathanger on the bed. the coathanger had a black dot on the hook part where you hang it on the rack. she nosed it a couple times.. then she just rared up and attacked it!

after 3 or 4 vicious bites, i guess she either figured it was no longer a threat or wasn't food. very interesting.

BTS also often "attack" inanimate objects.

That is interesting! I remember Pele' attacked a temp probe when I first got him. I thought he was just a little "confused" and I worried about the poor guy's IQ. Glad to know he isn't alone!

LittleFoot attacks new things I put in his tank, especially the ramps and the fake plants. He'll test them every once in a while and then move on.
