I have 2 easterns about 5 months and they are living together in a 3 foot by 2 foot enclosure and i have read about not keeping them together and people here have advised me against it too and just now as i was watching them i nearly saw an attack.
My youngest baby was climbing up onto the basking rock and the bigger bluey saw him and ran over real fast like he was gonna bit him. It could have happened if i didn't jump up so quick and scare him so i guess it is time for a seperating. I don't have a second enclosure so i guess im gonna have to sell one

Why don't you get another enclosure?

To get another one like i have will cost me $300 but i don't even have room for it. Ive just moved into the biggest room in the house so i could fit my enclosure so having another one is probably impossible.
I can't sit one on top coz the other enclosure is on top of some drawers so it would be too high for me to reach in.

Well you could stack them and get a ladder

Im not too keen on that idea but its always an option. I've just got rid of furniture, clothes and other stuff to make room for my enclosure so its a tough one to figure out.
If only the guy didn't talk me into buying 2, i only did it for company reasons then found out they don't want it anyways. If i do have to sell him im in the Lake Maquarie/Newcastle NSW area.... if anyone in those areas is interested.

You probably can stack them ontop of each other!
And for your second enclosure buy/make one with sliding glass doors, so you dont have to reach over the actual tank.
But if its hard to reach the top enclosure simply buy a little plastic stool from a $2-shop, that way you will reach, no trouble at all
Or make and outdoor pit in your yard.
That way you can keep both of them inside!
If you make a great big outdoor pit, you can have more then 2

(depending on the size)

Sent you a pm asking if you were selling your skink then I realized where you are located. Check the classifieds online Ebay and see if you can find a cage at a discount price. It is so hard giving away your pet.

LOL yeah i wouldn't send the little guy that far.
I have been looking on ebay and other places, i just don't have the room for another enclosure as all my pets have to be in my bedroom.

Seeing as you're in Auss, is an outdoor pit/enclosure an option?they might love it.

I would like to when they are older, it would have to be a portable one as this house is rented and i couldn't build one into the ground like i would want to.

If its like it is here, go to the nearest ditch to a supper market and retreive a shopping trolley, invert it on the lawn with bluey inside, wont get much more movable than that, I'd call it recycling haa haaa

I couldn't make one, and having the electrical needs too i think i'll pass one making one. I spoke to the guy i got them off today and he said if there is a size difference like i said there is then its best to seperate them.

Yeah done that, but it can't stay that way as they won't have much room when they grow. My brother in law was playing with them a few days ago and he said he'd love to take one of em off me and my sister just raised her eye brows. But if she got him, at least i'd still be able to see him.
