Bluey drinking habits, with a picture

I've noticed a few people say that they dont see thier skinks drinking,I have a theory{watch it get smashed to bits}Iam lucky because my geezer is so mellow and trusting, he'll let me watch him drink, get in close to take photos, and generally annoy him, haaa haa.I've noticed that he's aware of his surroundings, but is unable to watch and drink at the same time this photo's the usual face pulled whilst getting a gob full of the wet stuff.
It seems he cant focus on anything while drinking
He kind of proved my idea when my daughter was looking at him, when he was thirsty, he'd act as in the photo for a second or so and then quick as a flash turn his head sideways to check on her, then resume the position, he repeated this several times until he'd had a guts full. Has anyone else seen this sort of behavour ? I await your replies
