BLUE TONGUE SKINKS

Hello everybody. I took the kids into work with me today just for kicks and weighed them. Last year Booger weighed 360 grams, and today weighs in at 420 grams. Chunka weighed 1,190 grams last year and now weighs 1,210 grams! I'm happy about Booger's increase because he's always been a petite little guy, but Chunka didn't need to gain anything. I guess she's just living up to her name

I only feed her once every 7-10 days! Maybe she has an underactive thyroid...lol

anyway, just thought I'd share

Booger's 23 inches and Chunka is 24 inches....but much much wider! LOL Even her head is like double the size of his....I'll have to take some pics and post them just for you Jenn

I was bad and didn't have my camera at work today...I really should have! I'll have some comin up in a jiffy....

Wow, Chunka is BIG! I love her salmon'y coloration underneath, though. Will Booger be able to manage such a large mate? Sorry... wow!

Man, he does look like a baby compared to her. They are both absolutely gorgeous.

I sure hope so! He's only 1 inch shorter than her, but she is 3 times his weight...lol That's one of the reasons I've held off from trying it before. Maybe I won't chicken out next year.
