I'm guessing Irian Jaya for the one on the left with the thicker banding, possibly both of them although the other might be a hybrid, and good looking ones at that. I'd wait for other people's opinions before you set your mind on it though.

the one on the right was brought in to the shop i work at, it had been fed on beef and alsorts, so hes a bit on the chubby side and he needs his diet to be balanced out, but other thatn that hes a nice specimen i think. my boss is asking 150 for the fella what do you guys think. worth it??

the one on the right looks merauke/IJ to me and the left I'd agree looks straight IJ. Interesting that the front legs are clean on that guy on the right. Almost northern-ish....although nothing else looks northern to me.

$150 is near what you might expect to pay from a reputable breeder, but from a pet store, I dunno. I'm not experienced with buying from pet stores, but I've seen them for around $100. Try talking him down first.

The one on the right looks northernish to me as well, something about the face.

You will find blueys in pet stores priced at that or higher. I know that personally would not spend that much on an unknown bluey when I could by from a breeder and get all of the their history.

Not to mention, the one on the right has really clean legs. Not that some IJ's don't have clean legs, but my guess is they're both IJ.

The left one is IJ, and the right one is another one of those wild caughts that has traits from both -- it's one of the reasons Glenn Shea has stated that IJ's belong in the Merauke subspecies (evanescens) -- notice how wide and big the head is -- it's an IJ head. Some of the Merauke are found so far east that they're incredibly lacking the "flecking". Notice how clean that animal is; I'm not surprised its legs are so clean -- it may gain flecking as it ages though...

It's a tough one! He's in "in-betweener". ;)

I think you got a couple of IJ's there mate,I reckon £150 is double what they should be, here in Bristol they go for £50 to £80
