BLUE TONGUE SKINKS

Our BTS Doug has some damaged scales on top of his head. I don't think it is scale rot as from what I can gather this is like blisters?
We only got him 6 days ago and the reptile shop was keeping him with another BTS. Is it possible this is a wound that has scabbed over?
The place looks dry, just like the scales have come off.
Does it sound like any kind of other disease or anything? Has anyone else experienced anything similar?

Based on the fact that he was kept with another bluey it is possible that it's a leftover bite mark. It's also possible that it's leftover shed. If it's left over sehd you take a damp papertowel and rub gently over it and see if it comes off. If it's a old bite mark, it'll probably go away after a few sheds. If it's not bleeding or ozzing anything I wouldn't worry but pictures would definetly help.
