i saw a centralian at a local pet shop today and i was blown away by how big it was!
i had seen a few before but only the size of easterns with big bellies

yet this one was the longest ive seen and the widest! it would've been about 6 and a half inches WIDE! (thats 16cm's for all those not in the USA like me who use the metric system)
i want him!

i was just amazed at how big it was, i was buying pinkies for my snake so i probably wont be in there for a while!
An update on my skinky though, yoshi the eastern grew 3cm's (or just over an inch) in one shed cycle lasting a month! he's now 5 months old and 26.5cm or 10inches.
ill have to get some pics soon!

You should come to the US. We get some whoppers. Centralians are normally considered a SMALL species

A true BTS lover would not let that stop them, you have a bed right? Get rid of that useless thing and put a couple cages there then you can just stay up all night and post pictures. Sleep is overr ated anyway.

*darn, why is my eastern so small?
He is 5 months too but only about 6 inches, he's so small compared to his brother.

Easterns don't get gigantic. I think Rollie isn't growing much anymore and is a hair under 17 inches.

My eastern Stella is just about 18 inches and Saphira is about 17 inches. They don't have lenght or weight of the northerns. Saphira also seem to take longer to reach her adult length compared to my northerns.

Personally I'm happy about that; the housing options are a bit more open that way.

so centralians are wider than most and easterns are smaller than most?

Small is fine with me but i don't know why one is so much bigger than the other...he's like a dwarf skink, lol.
His head is so small and he isn't very solid either, is that normal?
His brother looks months older than him.

Are you watching who's eating what when you feed them? I might start feeding him outside of the cage and away from his brother to make sure he's getting enough to eat.
