I was surfing online last night and I came across this ebay store. It looks like someone has the right idea!

Very cool...

That cage would be just about perfect. Go for it. Or buy mine.

Oh, I feel like I cheated on you!

lol I will have to save my pennies to get the 42" wide one. Maybe for my birthday in September...

I'll tell my siblings and parents to give me MONEY!!! Yeah, that's it. That's the ticket.
hey Russman, ever think about starting an ebay store like that? If you created your masterpiece in such a short amount of time, maybe you could take orders and make a little cash selling to others. Just a thought...

Yeah I've thought about it, except for my dad was the real mastermind behind that cage.. I just told him what to build. I mean, I helped and all, but I can't take full credit. Plus, that thing would be expensive to ship.

Those look great, but shipping is killer!
I wonder if the plexi option is cheaper and if it's really worth it to go that route with lizards that scratch... hmmm

Yeah, I think the shipping was $50 or $60 for a tank.

I don't think that shipping is too awful bad.. I mean considering it's a 4 foot by 2 foot box basically.

Yeah, it's about the same to ship a skink overnight!

Yeah, I'm seriously considering ordering one. You can actually have them create an enclosure to your specifications. How cool is that?
It's a bit expensive but I've always been one to pay for convenience. And it's convenient that I don't have to build one!

What a nice looking enclosure!
I think since skinks are so long-lived that furniture-like enclosures are the way to go. Part of the fun of having these guys is showing them off! Even my "non-reptile friends" (the ones I haven't scared off

) seem to accept my skinkies more if they find their enclosure to be attractive! (It is kinda like tolerating my kids better if they are clean and well dressed vs. snotty and dirty!)
Can't wait to see the pictures! You are such a great interior decorator!

I wish I could keep my BTS outside all the time too!
Okay, so I went ahead and did it! I ordered one of these enclosures.
Sammy is gonna love this!!!

I know I'm gonna pay for this but I HAD to have it!!!!

So now I'm really looking to make or buy something fabulous for the background. Considering that I'm now broke, I guess I'm stuck with making one!
No worries. Life is good.

Yeah, those looked like well made cages. The price turned me off, but they are most likely worth every penny if made how they appear.
^^ Congratz!
