No, not another poltergeist movie!!
Jubby!! and Ralphie!!
Not surprising really, it’s 25C outside. But clucking bell it’s windy!! Or maybe he heard me telling you’s all that he was going to be the loser in the Super Winter Sleepstakes. Either way this is Jubby’s first outing since June.
Shhh…..quietly now…. a little closer…… YESSS! A sighting!!
Confirmed!!
Me wanty outy
Me wanty back inny
No wait.. Me wanty outy again
Jub: Pleeeese Mum, just for a li’l while?
Lis: No! Too windy! Now go away, I’m supposed to be working!
But wait, there’s more!! No, not a another set of steak knives …. It’s
Ralphie!!!
Pipped by Jubber by about one hour, but he was out a bit over winter so we’ll call it a tie for 2nd place.
(They get a plant for their tank to the value of
one whole dollar!)
Can’t forget Santos. Asleep in his room all curled up in a Ferrari flag. As all good lizards should!
I’m not rushing them, it’s only August after all. But it was good to see the big man again, I’ve missed him. Ralphie seems in good nick, too, even looks like he’s lost a little weight which is good.
Not long now and the lazy hazy summer weekends out back with a drinky-poo, coupla lizards, radio on, the crack of leather on willow, sun beating down.... aahhh, not long now at all

This is Austraya! Can't walk to the shops for tripping over them

(slight exaggeration there

)
But if it's any consolation, there's heaps of overseas animals I'd love to keep but we're not allowed.

Yes, that's my dog, Diesel. But he's blind so he's got no idea that Jubby's the other side of the door. He went to the vet yesterday and he's also got dementia

We're going to try him on a drug, but it only helps in 50% of cases. And even then it's no cure, it just helps him get back to normal sleeping habits, less wandering and standing in corners etc. Poor old bugger. I'm struggling to decide if his quality of life is good enough.
Yeah Leigh, always wit' the camera!! I don't like to take too many inside which is why they're usually crap. Outside I'll take a hundred to get just one good one!!
Mom22wins, it's a 4x2 foot tank. I have Ralphie in a 3x2, but I think the 4x2 is the way to go.
And to you people seeing faces in flashes ??? What the??? You really shouldn't buy your drugs from people on street corners
Jub was up again yesterday and I had him outside for a little bit. He's a bit on the grumpy side. He wasn't last year so I'll have to have words with him.

Glad to see the gang. Don't be too hard on Jubby. He just has the movie star complex going!!! (And rightfully so!)
