BLUE TONGUE SKINKS

Boris' doesnt seem to be interested in mealworm and superworms. any other suggestions? the variety of live food sources here in the philippines are very limited.
i weant him to eat a pinkie when he gets to adulthood or even see him eat crickets from time to time.
do you have other techniques to do this?
he seems to be vey picky with his food, only slurred and he only foes licking..

matbe one day, just as an experiment feed him live food instead of his regular and see what happens, if he just does the same just feed him regular i guess...

you dprobably need the more sadistic of the members to tell you how ta get one animal to kill another in an enclosed space lol...

Mice are normally taken at all stages. Mine is only 100g and gets fuzzies.

Neither of my blueys really hesitated over live prey---although they have definite preferences. Are you putting the worms into his food or feeding them separately? Are they right out of the fridge? Have you tried feeding freshly molted supers/meals? I wish you had a better selection there. Can you raise your own earthworms or roaches? They are cheap, easy to keep and readily consumed. Can you get those there?

im feeding the worm seperately. raise raoches and worms? hmm.. i have to see about that. hehehe

Mine has never turned down snails of any size/shape or colour from the first sighting, also superworms, but doesn't like roaches or mealworms

I put it in front of them! Once they see it moving, it's chow time. A few of them don't even need to see it move. All I have to do is put it on their plate and it's gone.

snails seam to be favored in most skinks, you could try stuffing it in its veggies, or smother the worms with somthing he does like, my skink relies mostly on his nose, but thats if you really want him to eat them

i really have to try snails!!!
