wild eastern update from back yard

ok thought id better update on the hibernating wild easterns from my back yard,today was rather cool,sun was out but had a bit of rain the night before but noticed 3 easterns basking at compost heap,only got a photo of the grey phased one as the 2 green phased ones layed the bolt before i could sneak close enough for some happy snaps,ill try in the morning as i had to work this arvo so couldnt wait for them to pop back out,anyways i will show some picsImage

here he is on the compost basking,i put him on the grass to get some clearer picsImage
and here is a pic of the whole area,there mostly in the left compost part,also next to the end left compost part is a pile of rocks where they move to when its warmer,and on the far right is the wood pile where some can be found to when it is warmer,thats my pooch,a blue heeler,me and blue things,i dont knowImage

Good pic's! It's funny how this wild bluey doesn't have the nice facial expressions that I've seen in captive pets. I prefer to think the BTS pets are just much happier guys! :wink:

well its the middle of winter here,so hes still very lethargic

one of his eyes r very blurry to,see that a bit in easterns down here as well,not sure if thats the norm though
