BLUE TONGUE SKINKS

ok, so i've had my skink for about a month now and WE LOVE HER! i just wanna let everyone know how we're all doing:

1) she LOVES blankets and laundry. she will just crawl all over and through everything and have a blast!
2) she likes turkey and garden vegetables baby food mixed with collard greens and a few chunks of cat food... and she eats like a PIG!
3) i put a couple of crickets in her tank today and she went nutts trying to catch them!
4) she has shed twice and seems to be growing every day - when she sheds, it's almost like there is another layer ready to shed right behind it.
5) i completely cleaned and rearranged her tank tonight and she's still checking it out even though the lights are off and it's bed time (maybe i should do that in the morning next time)

anyway, i would love to post some pics, but our camera is broken - soon as we get another one or can borrow one, i'll post them!

That's really great to hear. They are so easy to fall in love with. Everyone who meets my skink is instantly "converted" -- like, maybe reptiles aren't slimy and scary after all.

Reptiles aren't slimy and scary?! Darn, and here I had my hopes up for some nasty critters. Then again, I'm getting tannies, so maybe the scary part will apply ^.^ Tee hee hee
