 Did you buff his scales before you snapped those?

He's so shiny. He looks so much better than when you first got him.

In reference to the last shot.

Go Boris, Go. Shake that handsome skinky tail.

thanks for the nice comments guys.. well, i think more practice with the camera would do it. that means more pics with Boris.. heheh im using a SONY DSC-N2 .
still saving for a DSLR ( 400d! heheh ) anyway, nope didnt buff the scales, im glad he has always been shiny excpet for the tail part and when shedding, he has a little boo boo on his nose, when i changed his bedding to this reptiles/kitty litter bedding thats when he got his boo boo.. he is on newspaper as of the moment. when his booboo is ok i will get him pine beddings or wood shavings.

guys, do you think im ready for another skink? im concern with the sapce im a little cramped up as of the moment. i dnt want to bite off more than i could chew.
someone is offering me an Indonesian, i met someone here selling also Tanimbars and someone is also selling me another IJ, what do you guys think?
thanks 8) :) :ohyes:

Putting him on paper towels is better then newspaper. The ink on the newpaper isn't good for them. You also want to stay away from pine shavings. The oils aren't good for them. Aspen is great though.

Is it because of how toxic the ink is? A friend of mine in the printing industry said that all ink is soy-based, except for the glossy ones that they use for fliers.

I think it is because it stains their feet.

You can buy newsprint pads which are huge, and are blank sheets of newsprint for art/drawing classes. I'm using that and paper towels for substrate because its cheap and easy to clean daily while my Bluey is being treated for parasites. As soon as he gets the all clear from the vet, I'm going to try the Aspen. I'm a little leery of it possible having mites though, as I think I read a recent thread about that. Any info on that, anybody?
