If you look by my hand, you can see where his spine was crushed. It's why he's a little "flat".

I know his back doesn't look as scary as Darling's, but Chuff is a living testament to how resilient these critters are! He was in such rough shape when we first got him, really thin and flat, and scary to think, he was improving then! He apparently had been sharing a cage with a python, and the temps were so low that both reptiles were basically in hibrination. So Hooray for all those people out there who care and want to
give these guys a better life!
By the way, he's not on that substrate anymore! He's on paper towels and non-printed newspaper, (like what you get for drawing classes) because he's still being treated for hookworms. He gets his final fecal on Sept 8th. (Lets hope he's parasite-free by then. Here's to good Skink-health! WOHOO!) I'll post more pics soon.
