Postby Drew » Wed Aug 29, 2007 12:33 am

Boris seems to be sluggish lately....
not os interested in eating only nibbling and stuff, he is spoiled to i have to nudge him a little with his food bowl to let him know that it has food.
i recently bought snails and tried to offer Boris it, it seems that he is not interested at all to live food bec i have offered him before meal worms..
what do you think guys? could be the weather? sick?

Some stretches of days my guy will be super boring and sluggish, not wanting to do much at all. Sometimes during these days he'll only nibble at things if they're some of his favorite foods, like chicken or blackberries.
Other stretches of days he's a crazy little dude and can't sit still for his life, he'll explore his cage a few times then start climbing the walls and things.
I've watche my temps and feeding and made sure they are pretty consistent, and even with everything being so consistent he still seems to have these "mood swings."
One thing that always stimulates his appetite and mood or calms him down, is to just bring him out of the cage and let him explore and go spelunking in my big couch.
Maybe i should stop calling it spelunking though, because that implies an amateur. Floyd's done it way more than enough to be considered an expert.
