Hey guys,
I just realized that I haven't surfed the forum or posted in a really long time, had to take spring and summer classes.... In a way that's a good thing, meaning that Floyd doesn't have any new problems, and his old one was fixed.

Last time I was posting semi-regularly he had drying around his mouth a while ago, brought him to a vet after trying some things and got him some medicated lotion.
He's basically all better now, with just a tiny bit of dry skin around his mouth right before he sheds. Me and Floyd would like to thank all of you for all the help you offered.

I have one question that's been bugging me for a while, not much of a worry, but my curiosity has finally gotten the best of me. Sometime when looking Floyd straight in the face, usually close up, he'll look straight at me and close one eye. It always seems to be his right eye. Thing is, I've examined him a whole lot and it doesn't seem that there is anything wrong with his eye. He's done it almost as long as I've had him, so it doesn't seem to be any type of injury he received while with me. Didn't ask the vet, but they gave him a pretty thorough checkup, another reason I'm not too worried. Anybody else's bluey do this? Is he just really lazy and only wants to keep one eye open for me? I would guess he probably just favors one eye over the other.

I moved into an apratment in Philadelphia about 5-6 months ago, so Floyd has a new, much bigger tank that he is enjoying to the fullest. The sliding front door also makes it much easier to do things in his tank.
I'll try to get some pics of him today, probably tomorrow, doing his favorite things, like sitting in front of the open (screened) window checking college girls out and diving into the couch because a large truck passes by.

Oh and yeah, HE'S SOOO HUGE! He's nearing the size of one of my forearms. The vet told me he was probably a bit overweight before, so he's been eating alot more greens without any enticing cat food or other meat mixed in.

I wonder if he's just a little far sited and has to close one eye to focus at things close up! :chin: Either way, glad to hear he's doing well. Can't wait to see pic's of him!
