BLUE TONGUE SKINKS

When bluey's "pee" isn't it just a soft white urate? I don't know if this is the case with all BTS, but my baby blue tongues seem to excrete a lot of liquid when they pee and poop. Is this normal?

Yes, it's normal for them to go a gusher as well.
I could water my lawn with what Santos expels. In fact, I could even use him as the hose the way he pumps it out

I am pretty sure that is normal. LittleFoot pees while expelling the urate and he pees while pooping. As long as there is the urate while peeing you shouldn't have an issue.

It's normal. Some will also let out a gush of liquid when they are nervous.

Yep, Chuff liquidates his area along with a urate, and sometimes sperm plugs as an added surprise! (I really wanna find him a girlfriend Merauke!)
The good thing is, he always lets me know before he goes, so I can scoop him up and put him on paper or bring him outside.
I figure its a good thing, means he's getting enough moisture in his diet.

Bella pees in your hand and my girlfriend thinks its because she knows she will be put down when she does it.

Ty looks so funny when he raises his back legs and tail. It's like his poo is a force that propels him forward..

Although it sounds totally disgusting, I reckon watching a bluey go to the loo is one of life's little pleasures

When they get the little bum wriggle going, the sneaky little fart n gurgles, then giddy up outta there with the tail up in the air, and finally the mosey on over to Mum to say 'go clean it up, woman'

Not as effective with shingles and their stumpy little tails, but mine more than makes up for it with what he produces.

Leigh, How did you know about Chuff's bell? Oh, and after he lifts up both those back feet and tail, he usually says, "Mum, I need to go to the loo. . . "

Whenever I pick up little Bindi, she cheerfully greets me with a "palm o' pee."

I found in the past when Blue peed on me, it was only water with no urate,that let me know it was a defence mechanism, the second time I was too slow to get him to a safe spot and had the full monty zoomer everywhere

I am confused... so do they pee once, a few times... or the entire time you hold them?

I was thinking about making a sort of (hold area) in my balcony w/in an enclosure...sort of like a tortoise box... w/grass or whatever they love to pee on...

So I was thinking I can start training him to go in there... but if he pees during the entire time.. then that wont work!

No mate, a quick squirt and they're done babies go more often, some do because of fright,some coz the temp change,some coz well its just time to go, and then there's the naughty little buggers that do it for the fun of it!!!

Bowie even let out a whole corn kernel. when he pood and pee on my hand.. hehehe

Maybe you should elevate his status to "Kernel" in the great Bluey Army!

Megaable, Chuff only goes once a day. He has never peed on me at all, I just watch for the indicators that he's going to go, (legs and tail up slightly raised off the ground) and he does his stuff, then he' sgood for a long while.

I heard my first Bluey fart yesterday and thought it was the cutest thing. Jeez ... that could be a sign I have gone over the edge. It's good to feel supported in mania.
