Belle and Jerri Outside

Belle, our Northern we hope to breed in the spring with Bandit who we got from Jeanne and Jerri, our IJ from Zach and Holly and who is from the first litter in 2004, enjoyed the cooler temperatures Friday afternoon in the grass. Check out Jerri's "spot" on her back and Belle's bowtie nose.
Bandit will get pics by himself because even though he's been better behaved, I still don't trust him around the "girls".

Jerri is lookin' really good. You can hardly notice her eye/mouth problem.

Hope you gave Belle a helping hand in that 3rd shot, hairy leg climbing is a high impact sport
What kind of grass is that? I reckon mine would love something long and soft like that. We get only short and spiky here.

Mate, its called watered hee heee heee
I can vouch for the fact its an extreme sport, I had twenty little scratches on my leg because he sneezed on his climbing expo. No bare legs, no more.

Hi Lisa,
Its fescue grass and its the only patch that's green on my whole yard due to the tomatoes being right next to it. Everything else is brown due to no rain of any significance for quite a while. Jerri has actually lost some weight since the beginning of the year. She hasn't been eating like Belle and Bandit, maybe due to her not feeling well because of her eye and mouth problems. I've been using our Kritter Spritz probiotic spray on her eyes and its worked well.

What beautiful skinks you have! That spot on Jerri's back is really cute!
Did Belle crawl up onto your lap or did you place her there. That is sweet! I'm sure they love romping outdoors---it makes for great tongue shots. It is funny to see the interactions between them when they are together. Do your skinks ever copy one another? My baby does that with my older skink. Just wondering if that is a baby thing or if the adults do it too!
