Some Questions About Pryce

Hiya Everyone! Well I've had Pryce for a couple of weeks now, and I've noticed some things I have questions about. First off, when he moves, or yawns, I can hear a creaking-like noise. Is this normal? Is it his bones or his skin? He seems to move fine, so I'm not overly worried, just curious.

Second is that Pryce had a some kind of block in his... fecal openning? I don't know the real name for the openning. The block was dark, so I guessed that it was old, retained shed. I soaked him for a few days, and then today after his soak I poked at it a bit and it finally came completely loose. It was a solid chunk, and I'm glad it's out. I think that if I didn't have the snake to see what the openning should look like, I wouldn't have seen anything odd. The openning looks normal now, white and flush with his belly. I took pictures of the clog before and after it came out.

I gave him cuddles:

Any opinions on this clog or the creaking? Thanks in advance.

Ooooh, they are, um ... intimate shots

Mine sometimes click when they yawn. I figure it's just their muscles getting a good workout.

I'd say it probably was a bit of stuck shed or stuck poo even, but if it's come off now, just keep an eye on it in future and I don't think it's anything to worry about.

That last one's a 'lemme off, lemme off' face if ever I saw one

Lookin good!

I'd say the "Lemme off, lemme off" would be an acurate description:

I have a few of these from today. Thanks for the response. I'll keep an eye on it. I was afraid when it was in that it might be stopping him from pooing, as he hasn't done it for a few days, and before that not very big (unlike a certain snake I can think of *grumble grumble*). He seems happy now that it's gone, so all good. Oh, and I'm loving the creaking noises when he yawns, because one sister goes "awwww" and the other goes "ewwww". I can't wait to get more BTS so I can compare and know if things like the creaking are normal.

Mine does it, I thought he was thirsty and it was his tongue/mouth/jaw all stretching and rubbing together

Good to know he's not the only creaky bluey.

Oh, I just thought of another question. Pryce is currently 14 inches long. As a northern, apx what age would this make him? I've been guessing between 3 and 6 months, any other suggestions?
