BLUE TONGUE SKINKS

So a young strapping Tarzan recently relocated to my home. In true darling fashion, he has already made an interesting impression. Last night, I came home to an interesting scene, finding he had escaped. he was easy to find, and I had to share pictures from where he was hiding...



it was cute, but he grumpily went back into his cage...

how old and big is tarzan?

Tarz is about 3, I acquired him from dragontears, via martinsperson. I think he's between 300 and 400 grams? Jen, wanna jump in on this?

I'm glad that everything worked out and you ended up with Tarzan! Stinky is looking quite handsome as well.

Tarzan's birthday is April 29th, he gets a little grumpy if you don't treat him like a king on his birthday!

Chuff and I had a great time last night playing Hide-and-Seek-the Skink!
I asked Tony to keep an eye on him while I cleaned out his cage, and Tony got all engrossed in the Simpsons, but thought he would be able to see Chuff if he moved out from behind the folder in front of the bookcase, where he was.
Turns out Chuff had slinked away and Tony was shocked and horrified! Tony couldn't understand how Chuff was gone, and he felt quite guilty.(I was amused, as I knew he couldn't have gone far!!)
So after looking with a flash light behind the huge potted plant and bookcases, I went and got a hard boiled egg from the fridge, and called for him, and then I noticed his head poking out from the backside underneath part of the short bookcase! He came out to munch, and I laughed my toosh off at the whole thing while he got egg and mango all over his face.
I Love playing with Chuff, (as long as I know for sure he's safe!) he's such a kick! Never a dull mo' with him.
Gotta love a Bluey that hides then laughs at you while you frantically search for them!
(Poor Tony's gonna have a guilt-induced heart attack if we're not careful!)
So didja ever find out how Tarz got out?

You can so tell he got caught doing something he shouldnt have.. he even has the facial expressions going on!

Those are funny photos mate, It still amazes me how they can turn/fit into such small places when they look so podgy

Yeah, I was a little surprised seeing him in such a tight spot! I figured I put the whole shoe in his cage and let him walk out when he was done being an adventurer.

Renee, I will keep that in mind and start stockpiling gifts Don't worry Drew, we won't let Tarzan's birthday out shadow yours completely. Renee, do you happen to remember Stinky's birthday?
