Western Blue-tongues, it says 2 of the past offspring were almost pure black. I think these guys look great and would love to see a pure black baby!
Anyone got a spare $2400?
On closer inspection....are these colours for real?

I couldn't find it at first either, but then I searched under the Lizards tab at the top of the website, and they'll be advertised as 3 females.

Yep, for some reason they don't show up but if you click the lizard tab up the top like Sallie said you will see them down the bottom.

Those colors are so amazing! I'm with you though. I'd worry about the pictures being tampered with though. I've never seen anything like those.

They look like air brushed Westerns, or a milk snake bluey morph, the front legs look like they've got tiny socks on

hmm i'd be wiery when u read the ad it says that there is 3 year old westerns for sale and 1 has a mark on her head from breeding the whole thing doesn't ad up to me are they babys or 3years old anyways they look to litlle to be breeding ,i personally think someone is trying to fool someone less expierenced out of a lot of money . they look like babys to me and defiently some colour enhancing when you look closely u can see green and very vibrant reds hmm suspisious.

I see what your saving now about the greeny tinge, would colour enhancers in food do it,like if they were fed long term on fish flakes?

Yes is that 3 1year olds, or they're all 3years old

Just looked at the pictures in the make and model section here, Johan Van den berg has/had a melanistic western that was as black ,but there's no red or green on it :noknow: , if its photoshopped wouldnt the substrate ,bowl, and enclosure look iffy as well?Would love to know the outcome on this one, has anyone sent a pm to Ian?

Yeah when you zoom in on it you can see the odd green and red colouring, thats why i wasn't too sure about them. If it is fake, that person is a loser and needs to get a life!
I mean c'mon now!

that add has been on and off there for ages now, there just a normal color variation of westerns, and personally for aussie dollars they are asking way to much, and u always have to ask if they are such good breeders and produce black babies why would they be for sale, hmmm hmmm, nice looking westerns though,i picked up one similar looking to those 3 today that most of u have seen before, goes by the name of celeste, thanks for sharing the info to

Richard you MUST post photos of celeste NOW.As you mention not just selling them but wouldn't there be a few babies for sale as well? I just love the red on the flanks and head, uber COOL

also as to the green and red u see in the coloring, looks to be caused from the camera somehow, just a reflection off there scales from the flash perhaps,as u can see the lighter ones, more brownish coloring produce red reflection and darker on green coloring, also the appear to be around 3 years old, they look sizable to me,heres a pic of babies to show how they look compared to older onesImage

Fair play mate that was a quick response, I'm totally green with envy, Also you made me think about the colour rendering under lights, they could have used a red+green+blue lamp to light the enclosure so getting the desired effect in the reflections off the scales, hhmmm, are those your babies mate?
