My guys will some times do that with special treats. They will carry mice all around their cage before they finally munch down on them.

Hi meraukebts83!

I think that is hilarious! I haven't witnessed anything like that with my bluey (her name is Sammy too!) but I think I'd die laughing if I did.

i just picked up sammy this summer from a coworker that has had sammy for somthing like 6 years. the entire time that Tom, my coworker had sammy he cept sammy on CEDAR wood chips making him breeth extremly hard. since i have had sammy i have used aspen and changed diets and lighting and basking spots and hide locations. sammy's toe on one of his rear feet has just fallen off because of a shedding problem that my coworker didnt even think was an issue. i think sammy is around 7-8 years old. i wish more people had more reason to learn about the animals they buy so that the animals would not suffer so. but anyways sammy seems to be doing real well.

Oh, Pryce did this just yesterday when I decided to give him a snail! I was afraid he wouldn't know what to do with it, but he licked it a few times, then grabbed it very quickly and made a mad dash to behind my back. I moved and he made another run to hide under a stool, where he smashed it open and ate the whole thing. It was absolutely hilarious, especially the first run. When I feed him the second one I plan to take lots of pictures, or maybe a video.

Oh, and my snail was pregnant, so when he cracked it many, many baby snails poured out. In other words, Pryce ate about 20+ snails yesterday. I took the 3 he didn't eat and the other big one and put them into my fish tank. He will have more snails to come.
