Is this normal?

I noticed on Friday afternoon when we took Kona out to play that she was shedding starting to shed on her feet . Well, we haven't seen her since we put her back in her house on Friday. She has been completely burried all day Saturday and still haven't seen her yet today. Is this normal? Is this okay? Should I leave her alone? Should I get her out and check on her??

I know, I know, I am probably just being a paranoid first time bluey mom.....but just wanted to make sure.

Thanks for any insight or advice!

LittleFoot disappears for a couple of days before he sheds, i just poke through the substrate untile i hear a huff and i then leave him alone. the day before he sheds he is usually soaking and then roams everywhere during the shed. Each one is different but in my experience with LittleFoot that is normal.

Being a new bluey mom you will feel better if you check on him. This is probably just his little way. Until you have been thru a few sheds with him and get to know his routine of course you will be concerned. So have a peek. It will put your mind at rest. :)

Well, since it is has now been 48 hours since she has been out, I had to peak. After 5 minutes of looking, I was starting to sweat. I could not find her. I was thinking, oh my there is no way she could have escaped, could she? So I get looking and looking. I finally found her....oh my she hid well. She was so burired and in such an odd place. Anyway, she wasn't happy at all that I found her. I got a little hiss so I covered her back up right away. At least I know she is there and alive.

Thanks!
