Hey everybody, miss you guys, sorry I'm not on as much as I used to be, school is keeping me busy. Just had to post something in honor of my bassett hound, floyd, who passed away this morning. He would have been 10 in December. He was a good dog, and will be missed

Oh, I am so very sorry to hear about Floyd... I grew up with bassetts. I stopped rollarblading this morning just to pat a little lemon and white bassett pup this morning. They have that "melt your heart" thing going. I know you must be hurting. Consider doing bassett rescue. It might help you heal a little faster....Good luck. I'll keep you in my prayers.

Were really sorry to hear your best mate passed away . We know the love never dies from a great dog ..I took him to a vet looking un well .And had to hold him facing me -Cause he prefered a fight than a feed , and the vet put an injection in his leg of buthanasia , and he droped like a rock he had prostrate cancer. And i walked outa the vet with him in a bag. The shock was unbearable . He was alive going to the vet and then in a bag on the back seat .

.Man i sobbed all the way home and burrying him .I was a mess 17 years we had Dig Digger .
The kids could jump on him when he was asleep .. But he wasn,t prejudice he woud bite anybody ..Great hunting dog ..We have huge pictures of him through the house and he is burried outside the kitchen window ..Least he had 18 pups . The vet said you can take him home but he is in alot of pain , so i took him out side for 1 last walk and hug ...And wispered how much i loved him . So yes i know its a shock .
Really sorry
He thought he was a blue tongue
