BLUE TONGUE SKINKS

now look at how her chin area is set back since her fall. it use to almost be even with her upper mouth

plus she still keeps her mouth open alot.

I tried to wash her face before pictures but she refused to let me get all the food off it. They enjoy some baby food sometimes.

Cute Lilly, I hope she'll be OK soon. But I gotta say, she is such a pretty skink! I love her sweet face. And the now over-bite is kind of cute-looking, it gives her character! I just hope its not causing her pain. Have you had her checked by a reputable Herp vet?

Instead of touching her nose with her tongue it's her chin!

I went to the regular vet but i didnt get to the reptile vet my county dont have them so i would have to drive a ways. hthe regular vet said she didnt look like anything was out of joint or that it caused her pain he felt around on it and she was fine.

Thats a nice tongue shot in the first one, did lily have the bad nose as well? looks like its clearing up nicely{if so}

yea she did a scale fell off on the tip and its getting better but you can see there are places i cant get clean. also the top of her head looks real scaley i think maybe dry scale and dont know what to do for it. i have been doing the antibiotic ointment the doc gave me for my other blueys eye.
