Mouth problem??

Postby mom22wins » Sun Sep 30, 2007 7:51 am

I'm probably worrying about nothing. But I don't want to overlook something that may be starting with Sammy's mouth.

This may just be the way she's made but I noticed a few weeks ago her top and bottom jaws didn't meet all the way on the sides all the way back. Here's a pic to show you what I mean.

It doesn't look infected or anything but I'm so afraid of mouth rot... She hasn't been interested in eating every day lately which I attributed to her getting older. But could it be her mouth??

Looks like the same thing with one of my BTS. Its like the scale doesnt make it all the way up to his lip. I dont think its anything wrong. I think its maybe the scale just hasnt grown in yet lol.

LittleFoot does that alot, especially after yawning, his jaws wont line up just right or he'll keep his mouth a little open for a while then goes back to normal. He'll also do this after a particually big meal (like a fuzzie mouse)

It's good to know it's nothing to worry about. I'm so glad to have you guys. Where else would I get "Oh, my bluey has that too! Not a problem" ! I could just see me trying to figure all this out on my own. I'd be at the vets constantly for every little thing... lol

Thanks again!

Hey Zach,

Think Wendy's would reconstitute their Burger Ads "Where's the Beef?" with Phoebe as their poster child?
