i know there are lots of care sheets out there, but what are your menus you use for your bts?

I have a juvenile, so I base my meal on a protein source, with added dark leafy greens, such as kale or collard greens.

If I am using chicken, beef, or insects for the protein, I include a small pinch of calcium powder with D3.

If using mice, I don't include the d3, as the bones are full of it.

For insects I normally use superworms, but roaches, hornworms, silkworms, etc are fine as well.

I try to avoid crickets, but they can have their place as the main protein if properly gutloaded.

As mentioned read the food chart here, all the items have been surveyed and well presented in a list form with each item rated good/bad and daily/occasional feeders, even the live feeders have been quantified. You could find the post "whats on the menu today" loads of us have given ideas in there

Definetly check out the caresheet and the food chart. My guys are going to eat this afternoon and I'm feeding them, colard greens, cumcumber, radicco (the small purple/red looking cabagge) and two squashes. I'll mix the veggies/greens with ground beef cubes.
