I want to be able to give some variety of foods for Sophie and i was wondering if green beans or peas are OK for them? I have gave her bananas(loves them) and some mixed berries(strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries.) I have also given her meal worms and crickets. At the store she like Super worms but my store rarely has them. She had also been given wax worms. I have read the caresheet and was curious about other foods to see if i can find something she likes.

Be very wary of crickets, as they are nutritionally poor for Blueys, and can often carry pinworms which are also potentially passed on to your Bluey!
Waxworms are high in fat, (I've heard them described as Lizard crack because they can be addictive, sort of like french fries or potato chips are for people)
This is a great time of year for various squash, which is very good for Blueys! Yummy!

I've done green beans and peas before. They are never a staple but something I add sometimes.

Citrus isn't a good idea...also browse through the care sheet, there is a whole list on good and bad things that they should( or shouldn't) eat.

Avocado, eggplant, rhubarb...there's a link with an entire list of no-nos.

My guys currently have both green beans and peas in their food. Pryce LOVES the beans, and looks for any larger pieces of them that he can pick out. The other 2 seem to like the food as well. I've also had yellow beans in before.

My Shingleback Spike absolutely loves green beans fresh and frozen and peas too. They are the first thing he eats...well im sure that would change it snails were given at the same time!

Wet fruits are usually preferred like melons, mango, berries, tomato. Mine like mandarin too. Mine's favourite veggies are yellow squash, zucchini and button mushrooms.
I think they are influenced by colour as well. My shingle definately goes for things coloured yellow or green or red even just to try them once.
Don't be surprised but if you find they aren't super keen on veggies. They'll almost always prefer live food, dog or cat food, chicken, egg etc before the veggies.

Hey! Read the caresheet and then have fun figuring out what your bluey likes. I try to always select a minimum of one green, one squash/other solid veggie, a fruit, and a protein. I try to do fresh but I keep frozen fruit and a high quality catfood (Wellness chicken/turkey) on hand. The mini choppers make fruit/veggie chopping a breeze. Have fun!

I agree, print out the food section on the caresheet, I've found that things that get tried/ignored once or twice can be introduced days/weeks later in the future and will be excepted, they can be very fickle and picky when it comes to dinner time
