Bluey Gear

O.K. time for a shameless plug for our Forum mate Jenn. She made some Bluey gear for Tattoo and it is fabulous. See for yourselves.

Tattoo loves the stuff so much I have to wake her up and take her out if it. Thanks Jenn

I need to put in a Christmas order for my babies. What exactly did you get for Tattoo? The material looks sooooo soft!

Well ... er ... the baby is spoiled. :oops:

She got the sock, the blanket and the sleeping bag. The full combo platter. Now all we need is a tiara! And you are correct. The material is very soft and cuddly. :wink:

I've already talked to Jenn, and I'm planning on putting in a large order. In just a few months I plan to have a set of 8 new tanks for all my herps, and once I have those I plan to buy the entire Bluey Gear combo for each. I already have my patterns and colors picked out, so once the tanks are ready, the order will go through. I love BG.

That bottom pictures is interesting...the head is really scaly and almost looks IJ'ish....

Zach ... I find her scaly head interesting too. Her head looks very much like her fathers. He is one of James Wilson's Carmel Northerns. She is also in the verge of a shed so it seems to become more pronounced around that time.

I have a full set of bluey gear for Sammy as well! I always put her in it when I take her to the bus stop with the kids some mornings. I think it gives her a sense of security.

Now that fall is here, I'll be putting it in her tank at night. Just to make sure she has a place to cuddle up. :wink:

I'm glad it got there and she enjoys it. Bluey gear can machine washed but I recommend air drying it. It helps keep the fleece soft. If you do choose to put the gear in the cage, make sure you give it a good shake when you take it out. Aspen sticks to the fleece like crazy!

Zach, I haven't added the towels to the website because I wouldn't know what to price them. It's a little towel but the time it takes to make is forever.

If you are planning to order for the Holidays make sure you put your order in very early. A lot of my own presents are home made (quilts and such) and I'm normally rushing to finish my own things so a late order might not arrive on time.
