Needless to say things have been great.
I witnessed some unusual behavior from my BTS Steve tonight. Normally hes very laid back and never really aggressive.
He was hanging out on a flat rock in his home basking under his lamp when I walked up. The tank is head level with me because I have cats and I have his tank up high on a pedestal.
So he is face level with me. I moved a chair over and put in a little dish with some caterpillars in it for him to snack on. He ate his pilla's and remained on rock. My son got up on the chair to watch him and he had a small plush ball in his hand and Steve struck an immediate interest in it. He followed it around the tank as I moved it outside the glass. So I placed it in his tank and "it seemed" like he was "playing" with it. He was carrying it all around the tank. Hiding it under a log. Nudging it around. It was really rather cute. I've never know reptiles to be "playful" and it was probably aggression. (he's gonna shed out soon) But I just wondered f anyone has seen this behavior before in a BTS.

Sorry about the crappy camera phone pics
