Bella - post shed

Well, I said I'd deliver some fotos of Bella minus her grayscale shed skin.. so here are some from last night. Thay didn't come out quite as clear as I'd hoped, but then again, I wasnt using my good camera. Enjoy!

This one isn't so clear, but I like the spots on her neck and wanted to show them off. Ain't she purrrrdy?

I love her left rear foot in the first two pics! It cracks me up when they sit like that befcause it looks so awkward. It looks like it should hurt their wrists or ankles, but I guess thats what they're meant to be like!
Too Cute. She's a gorgeous skink, I love her colours and pattern!

That plate of food ... is she sharing that with someone? She never went and ate that all up did she?

beautiful skink...yeah it always looks uncomfortable to me when they sit that way, but they do it anyways....LittleFoot does it alot when he basks and when he eats.

Nah, she didn't eat it all. We like to make a big batch and it usually stays fresh for three feedings (days). I'm finding that if I don't use the chopper and puree the food and cut it up instead witht a knife into bigger chunks, it stays fresh longer and is less messy.

Alright, couldn't help myself. I just gave Bella a warm bath and rub down to remove the bits of shed that still remained on her tail and toesies. They slipped right off, but when I put her back under the heat lamp, she looked stunning, so I had to snap a shot or two. This one shows her length pretty well. That is a 12 inch floor tile she is on.. so I'm guessing she's just a tad over 12 inches.

Wow... you and I have the same sort of basking rock and your feeding bowl... is just like my waterbowl. I also want to know... will she eat all that food?
Watson.. hardly eats part of a small lid filled w/food.
When he gets bigger I am sure he'll eat more.

She eats a lot, but not that whole dishfull. Whatever she doesn't eat we save for the next day.
