Blue Mystery Snail.

Ah, I think I have black mystery snails. They are so easy to breed because they bare live young. I also have pond snails to use as a garnish.

I'm thinkin garnishing a mystery snail with a pond snail would be a bit ... garish? Sorry I couldn't resist.

I mean to garnish his meals to make it catch his attention so he will eat it. I usually feed mystery snails as snacks. I acctually havn't tasted them yet. I 'll have to get around to that.

is my personal opinion on eating snails. Have had them prepared by a 4 star chef and they taste like garlic and have a weird texture. Besides I wouldn't want to deprive my skink. Let me know how you find them though. I am curious.

Garlic.. yup, that's how they're usually prepared... lots of garlic.

They taste so disgusting they have to drown them in garlic X2

I had such a hard time breeding my apple snails. I finally gave up. I'm thinking maybe my first graders need to learn about snails and trying to do it in the classroom.

I have aquatic snails in my aquarium but I love them and I can't feed them to Watson. I have a whole setup out in my balcony for common garden snails. I keep him easily w/water and fresh collard greens. I collect them from my street in the morning.

I only pick small ones so that WAtson can eat them faster...

HE LOVES THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So I have to TRAIN myself to only feed him one every couple of days...

Does anyone feed any bluey Snails daily?

As long as he's not filling up on the snails and is still eating his veggies, snails can be given daily.

And the more of the shell they eat the better.

Snails are a good source of calcium even without the shell... of course the shell only helps more...

I'd be feeding snails daily if there were any around. It's one of their main food sources in the wild. Pink tongues live almost exclusively on them.

My pink tongues have snails in their tank 24/7 (chopped escargot snails)

I've been debating aquatic snails, I just feel less comfortable feeding them than I do human grade foods. While I eat fish, I wouldn't eat fish from a small fish tank. I just don't feel it's clean.
