I caught him staring out the window looking at snow fall while he was on his everyday promenade on my bed... and he looked sad cause he knew he couldn't go outside anymore... so I took a couple of pics... and this is what came out, a Dundee nostalgic about good old summer days!!

dt ,i want to change my vote because the one i actually thought was the most creative i thought everyone would vote for, so i voted for the one i think is really cute. but now no one's voting for that one that i thought was hands down amazing and now i feel stupid for not voting for it becuase it is truly great.

I definately think that we need a contest where we submit little stories about the pictures! The little commentaries are quite amusing!!!

BTW, Zenny, where do you find all your little props (like the bus, bison, police guys, etc.)? They're all super cool.

i'm constantly going to little hobby stores and toy stores and stuff.
that bus one isn't so great though. after i took that picture i realized the bus needed to be getting smashed. i was going to smash it and then lay pup across it for a new photo but i never got around to it :lazy:

Now that I've looked at the pictues 100 times, I wish I could change my vote too. There is one that I have grown to love, but it's not getting the votes. The skink's expression is priceless! I guess this will learn me for voting too quickly (how do you like that grammar, Edward?).

I never vote immediately for fear that I'm going to change my mind. I go back and forth and watch people's comments and finally get Martin to help me decide...unless he obviously picks the wrong one! :lol:

It's ok to go with your gut instinct. I try to pick one that is artistic and one that makes me laugh. Then between the two, judge the creativity and work each one took. :thinking: This month was really hard! All the pictures are fantastic. :2thumbs:

When I ask my family which one they like, I end up with 4 different answers. :doh: :lol:

Yeah, maybe we should just post the commentary with the pics? I don't see why not -- I think it makes it funnier.

I vote based on the quality of the picture (because it will be in the calendar) and the humor!

A few people do send commentary, and often times I think the commentary might make a difference or influence votes/opinions, etc. Not everyone provides commentary, and I'm not sure I think it would be fair for those who don't send any, have anything witty to say, etc. I do post the commentary or whatever is emailed with the entry for the winning pic. But I'm certainly willing to do whatever the majority wants. Just let me know!
