unfortunately for you Drew, unless you have an exporting permit - which these days are as rare as hens teeth, it is illegal to ship native Australian animals out of the country. They put a ban on it quite a few years back.

Your best bet would be either to find someone in your country that breeds Aussie Blueys or someone that has successfully imported one illegally and get one off them. Basically I don't like your chances.

**I would like to also add that I do not support the illegal expoting of our native animals to ANYWHERE in the world, and purchasing a bluey that has been exported illegally is doing exactly that and should be punishable by death.**

...Just my opinion. :)

Are there any reptile boards or stores in the philipines? If so - put in a query. Ask if they know where you may be able to find one. Never know - you could find a legit breeder.

True, but at least with drugs the people have somewhat of a choice to use or not (most situations they have 100% of a choice). The animals on the other hand have no choice what so ever which is really messed up.

exactly - hence why the people exporting/impoting animals illegally should be punished by death - give them no choice in the matter. Hey - lets just not tell them about the punishment and surprise them at the sentencing! that'd be humerous to watch! don't you think?

I'll keep my eyes and ears out for you drew. If I hear of anything - I'll let you know straight away. but put the word out that you are interested in Aussie Blue tongues in your pet stores and local breeders. There's bound to be atleast one!
