so last night i walk into my room and i smell something godawful so naturally i look toward the skink cage.......but unfortunately this time he did his business it was extremely runny. should i be too worried about this or just wait to see if it happens again? any and all comments are appreciated. thanks.

Was it smeared everywhere, like in the water dish and on the walls? I hate when my blueys do that. Talk about working the gag reflex. As Jenn eluded to, certain foods can make runny and stinky poop. I'd rule out diet as the culprit first.

Cat food can make for runny poo. Try a few different foods and see if the consistancy changes.

And sometimes, it's just runny for whatever reason. His next could very well be normal.

But only cat food though? That's all you feed?

You guy needs a bit more than catfood, regardless of the nasty poo. Catfood in general isn't really that great a food. That'd be like humans eating Spam a staple diet. We are unhealthy enough with Spam's unhealthy cousin, McDonald's Corporation.

i knew that i should've been givin him more than just cat food...any suggestions on the best thing to be givin him he's a little over 5 months old right now.

my baby's was runny for a week or 2 when I first got him, but it's normal now. Unless it's an every day thing, I wouldn't be too worried.
