Vet. I would try moving him to a new cage, like a large plastic tub, and using newspaper as the substrate. Use different bowls and no decor except a basking rock (new) and simple hiding place (new).

Orange Medic Lice shampoo is a good natural way to remove mites.

Not sure if you can get it where you are - but it might pay to find out.

Steve's stuff is fantastic. Feel free to post your www address and other info, Steve.

I used Reptile Relief before I new of Steve's stuff -- it's kind of a similar product in that they are both non-toxic and water based (is that right, steve?) Be sure to wash his tank with it, and don't put in any substrate until the problem is taken care of. Newspaper is fine to use. Take out all his furniture too.

Thanks, Zach. I don't like to be pushy. We sell environmentally safe products. The ones applicable to skinks in particular are the Lice R Gone shampoo for mites and the Enzyme Cleaner with peppermint for cleaning cages that have had mites or just cleaning in general. A lot of our human customers are chemically sensitive to chemicals and/or pesticides. The OdorGone works well too for stinky skinkys. www.usersafe.com is our website. All members get 10% off everything.
