Sometimes Drew, people think that the 2 or 3 little flappy things in their ears are old skin, but they are meant to be there. Like what you can see in your 3rd shot. Not sure if this is what you're referring to? I only ask because they've fooled people in the past and it's really hard to see ear bags in their ears and they usually come out just fine, one of the easier bits that they shed. I really wouldn't go anywhere near the ears with any kind of object. (My hands shake too much!)

Probably wouldn't warrant a vet visit -- but could further on down the road if multiple shed plugs were stuck in the ear.
