I know Agamainternational.com breeds them here in the US. I think most are still wild caught. They are cool animals i don't know a ton about them i know they like veggies and friuts and are highly arboreal but other than that not much. I think that website has a whole page about them.
hope that helps a bit.

If the lizard is purchased the petstore will see it as a good investment and will likely just get another one to sell. Although the animal now in the store would have a home with someone who knows there stuff, or is willing to find the answers, the next one might not be so lucky.

OUCH!!!! Screw that! I could think of alot more things for $700 than a lizard. Like perhaps a good chunk of a new Bass Amp! Still need more for the amp and then the Speaker bin, but yeah - $700 would go nice on the amp I want.

In a stroke of irony, tonight we were doing a big house clean-up, and I unearthed an old newspaper. I flicked through idly, seeing if there was anything of interest, and lo and behold, what did I find?

Although I haven't kept them myself, someone I use to volunteer for had a colony of them. Very interesting animals but, not near as "cuddly" as blueys. The guy took a bite from the male and it was bad!! Lots of stitches and lots of bruising!!

When i say BTS - I'm including shingles due to the fact that they are in fact Blue tongue skinks.
Look at the head on the big one - looks like it has down syndrome or something. That's what i mean with the Prehensiles.

Blotch - I have to say that I'm finding your non-PC language a bit offensive.
We get it - you think that they're ugly.
But using words like 'retarded' and comparing them to people with Down's Syndrome is very insensitive.
