How about people who are "
for" neither? Nature is cruel and personally I don't care to witness death and suffering of either party. I understand that carnivore animals need to kill and eat meat and it is part of life. But I don't enjoy witnessing it either. I have issues with people who do take enjoyment from watching an animal die. Making decisions, feeling empathy, and understanding consequences is what makes us human and separates us from animals.
There is a very sick video circulating of hunters using a golden eagle to kill a young deer. Leave it to humans to use wild creatures for a violent sport. It's the same mentality of those that enjoy dog and rooster fighting. (I can't type co_k fighting without offending the spell check censor? And Dell is the replacement word???) Now that is just wrong!

I do have philosophical issues with people who
enjoy killing and watching it.
My personal beliefs are that humans are evolving, and those that abstain from eating meat are at a higher level than those of us meat eaters. Not eating meat is a healthier lifestyle and better for the planet. I have not yet made the transition to a completely meat free diet, but I also realize the implications of the damage to the earth caused by raising mass-market beef, pork and poultry and the soil destroying corn crops grown to feed livestock . I hope to one day be totally meat free. I'm a vegetarian wanna-be in a meat loving family.
Some humans hold on to their animalistic nature and have an innate need to kill and obtain enjoyment from it. It doesn't make it
right or wrong, it just is what it is. It is my
hope that this will eventually evolve out of humans.

That's from me ahead of time because I know you are thinking it!
