some stumpys

heres my group of stumpys,there rugosa asperas,i have the original pr,plus 2 others i have purchased for future pairings with originals offspring,and the rest are the original prs offspring,this may be there 5th straight year producing,the male also mated with another female last season but she never produced so theres that chance as well,anyways heres some pics of the gang,first lot are 2 of the prs babies from the season before last,darker ones,and i purchased the lighter oneImage

A stumpy is another name for shingleback correct? All these pics of shinglebacks are making me want to move to australia. :D

Yup :) shinglebacks are also known as Stumpy tail lizard, Bobtail, Pinecone lizard and Sleepy lizard.

So these guys really hard to find here in the U.S.? Boy are they cute! I wanna Pinecone-Stumpie-Bob! You are soooo lucky to have a yard full of lizards! :tasty: Oh the envy. . .

You can, but two potential problems.

1) Finding one for sale

2) Affording that one for sale!


Same goes for the U.S....

+ 2.2 Irian Jaya (Slurpy, Nona, Sassy, Cool Moe Dee)
+ 1.1 Eastern (Eugene, Enzo)
+ 1.2 Northern (Niko, Pearl, Peach)

Im kicking myself now. The reptile show I used to go to when I was little had them. Then again they had capybara and alligators. I wish I could go back in time.
