hi guys.im a bit confused. I
i
m having a hard time to get the sex of Boris. and im posting a pic of an INdo that someone has been trying to sell me, he says its a Male.

There is a whole section on the caresheet about how to tell the sex of a skink. There are some indications with body shape but it's not a definite way. The only way to know for sure is to see boy bits and sperm plugs from a male. If you haven't seen any boy stuff then after a while you can assume it a female. You can also put two together around breeding season and see how they react to each other. Like I said the caresheet goes into more detail. Ask this guy how he knows the indo is a male. You aren't looking to breed with your IJ are you?

I dunno but that guy looks pretty IJ to me not really a standard indo.

Although as I've said before I'm no expert.

the other skink your friend is trying to sell you is definitely an indo. Looks just like Mr. Booger :)

Impossible to acuatley tell by looking at them. One of the best way to tell is while they pee, if you see the hemps pop out and they leave sperm plugs, it's a male. If after several times you don't see this, you can assume you have a female.

Hemipenes could evert essentially at any age....sperm plugs; the earliest I've ever heard of is 3 months.
