September in Skinkville

Postby mom22wins » Mon Sep 10, 2007 12:26 pm

I just updated Sammy's enclosure for the impending Autumn season. :D I think she likes it! You can't see her in the photo but she's burrowing under some of her new Fall foilage. lol

I just love decorating her home. Hopefully it will keep her curiousity at it's peak as well. I love it when she walks around checking out something new I put in her cage. 8)

I love it. Sammy's a lucky little skink-a-roonie! :D

I can't get over that gazebo. :clap2:

Mine couldn't be trusted with such a nice setup. Fake flowers are considered a toilet and that moss would be dinner.

Looks like an all hallows eve luau. Tattoo and I will be boarding a plane to attend the festivities. Well o.k. maybe only in spirit.

Thanks for the comments. It's funny, I thought she would attack the pumpkin, poop on all the flowers and generally move it all around and backwards but she's been a nice little girl about it all. :)

Oh, and on Halloween, Sammy's having a Halloween Party and all your bluey's are invited! There will be roaches and superworms as finger foods as well as a fresh salad of snails and green cabbage to munch on!

I am so glad that Pele' and Charlotte are already in bed. They would be so jealous if they'd seen Sammy's new decorations. They would also be diappointed to miss Sammy's Halloween party!
Diane, you are so funny! I second the vote that you are the master skinky interior decorator! Sammy is quite a lucky skink. Pele' would respect the greenery but Charlotte is quite the opposite. She eats what she can and poops on the rest!

Yeah, that would be cute. Dress them up like their owners. lol Don't know how much the skinks would like it though...

But that does give me an idea for Halloween. Maybe I'll bring it up to the powers that be. What about a Halloween Photo contest? We could send in pic's of our bluey's in little hats or cloths. Not too stressful for them. Just something that would be cool to photograph. I know I saw some cool pic's that someone on the forum posted of their bluey dressed up in something or another. I can't remember who it was though.

Now my wheels are spinning....
