Yes, the celebrations are well and truly in full swing. :woo:
There's Santos Sundowners to be enjoyed in the evening, Santo-snags on the barbie, and Cheesecake a la Santos was a huge success!

Awwww, I've been away for a long time and this was the first thread I looked at -- that lil' turd always brings a smile to my face! :ohyes: I think his little mug has gotten even cuter!

He has one of the most intellegent looks on his face, you can almost see him thinking...love the "driveway turd" that had me cracking up.

Hi Brena, long time no speaky! Conor reckons he's lost his baby face, but like you, I think he's cuter for it!

Yes Pippi, his big black eyes are just so expressive, and he can move his head much more than the others, so he's much more responsive to movement and noise. He does sometimes looks as though some kind of thought process is going on.

I like how the second to last one shows how he walks upright (not dragging his belly) just like crocodiles do. To watch him walk it looks like it's a real struggle and he sways alot but he'll only slither on grass. Everything else it's tummy off the ground.

I love all the shots with his gigantic head in the foreground, making it look even gigantic-er! He's like a bobble head dashboard dog...in skink form.

Yeah he does have a massive head, you can really tell in this shot comparing him to my eastern ('scuse the filthy doors, my dog is blind and bangs into them all the time :oops:)

I forgot that I'd put the third to last pic on the computer as the background, and this morning when I was having brekky I heard this massive bang followed by expletives (unable to be repeated here) and raced downstairs to the study to see my husband in a tangle of arms and legs on the floor. Apparently he was lounging back in the chair waiting for the computer to come on and he was so shocked by the massive Santos head on the screen that he overbalanced and him and the chair went over. Santos has that effect on people! I got in trouble!

Hilarious story! At work we are working on a content management system, and long story short we developers don't have any real "content" to test with, so we just enter our own gibberish. I keep uploading my skink pictures as test data, so when I look around I see skinky photos on other people's screens all day. :cloud9:

Of course there are a few comments... "Why is there a scary lizard on this page?"
